Many years ago my family and I vacationed in Durango. While walking downtown I told my wife, “One of these days we will live here!” Well, five years after that first trip we decided to make the move. I can say that, as a father, it was the best thing I have ever done for my children. The atmosphere, schools and people make Durango a wonderful place to call home. Having gone through the relocation process myself, I have become very efficient and knowledgeable in helping countless couples and families move to Durango.

When I'm not busy working hard for my clients, I thoroughly enjoy the sport of cycling.

In 2011 I chose to take the next big step in my career and become an Owner Partner at Coldwell Banker Heritage House Realtors. Heidi Burtoni is a detail oriented, professional organizer who ensures that deadlines are met and paperwork is complete. She has a keen sense for great properties and is always on the prowl for potential homes & land for our buyers. Her shining personality and staunch professionalism make her an absolute delight to work with. Heidi started out her career working for a CPA/Accounting firm. She ran all start up procedures with new clients and insured the proper structuring of the bookkeeping systems. After moving to Durango in 2002, Heidi started a merchandising company which included clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Kraft Foods and Foster Grant. She traveled the Four Corners working with store managers to insure that all client products were current and on display.

On her own time, Heidi enjoys nurturing her garden to produce beautiful flowers & delicious vegetables.

Sean McLain uses his masterful computer, graphic and web design skills to manage the ongoing advertising efforts for our clients. His strong customer service experience makes him a delight to work with. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he moved to Durango in May of 2010 to start anew. Professionally, he has been a Staffing Manager for several large corporations, Dispatcher/Call Receiver for AAA Auto Club and a Web-Graphic Designer/Social Media Consultant. Outside of giving 100% Effort for Joe Burtoni’s Clients, Sean is a musician and teaches private music/music technology classes to aspiring minds in Durango. He also loves exploring the wonderful splendor of Southwest Colorado with his beautiful Fiancée, Natalie.
